As a coach, I work with both executives and entrepreneurs (writers, producers, and small business owners).
For my executive clients, their schedules are dictated by their work hours and all that entails: Commuting, In-person or Zoom meetings, phone calls, emails, and then doing their actual jobs.
For my entrepreneurs, their schedules are more unstructured. They don’t have a boss breathing down their neck, nor do they have countless meetings that they are required to attend.
My corporate clients complain they don’t have time for themselves because they are too busy. My self-employed clients complain that aren’t motivated or productive enough without a deadline or a paycheck.
The solution to “I don’t have time” vs. “I am not productive on my own” is two sides of the same coin.
Both situations need a healthy daily routine!
For those who have to jet off to an office and punch a clock, it is important to have a good morning routine: Exercise, meditation, hydration, and something nutritious to eat.
For those who work from home and need to generate their next client, paycheck, or project, it is equally important to have structure. A morning routine is important too, but scheduling blocks of time in your day to focus on a project is the secret to productivity.
Daily routines have shown to:
-Increase Productivity
-Reduce Stress
-Improve Health
-Provide Better Mental Health
-Improve Sleep Quality
If time management is something you struggle with, let’s talk. I offer a free consultation. If you have already worked with me and want to come back for a refresher session, I now offer VIP sessions for $500 (2 sessions or one 2-hour session), send me a note and we’ll find a time together.
Happy Wednesday!
