Have you ever been stuck in the waiting game?
Waiting for an answer, a result, or a sign that you’re on the right path?
Patience has never been my strong suit, either. As an overachiever, I’ve spent years trying to control outcomes, speed up timelines, and attempt to avoid uncertainty at all costs.
But the truth is, some things take time—whether we like it or not.
Take my book for example. Friends and family have been supportive and complimentary, but I wondered if it would ever break out beyond my inner circle.
And finally, this week, I got my first professional book review!
Here’s a quote from that review:
“The attraction is nothing short of powerful for self-help readers interested in examining their drive to gain meaning from life.”

If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to start prioritizing your own well-being, The Overthinker’s Guide to Joy book is available now, and it’s here to help you break free from the cycle of perfectionism, people-pleasing, and burnout.
And if you’ve already read it, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Leaving a review (on Amazon, Goodreads, or anywhere you like) helps others find the book—and makes all that waiting worthwhile.
With gratitude,
Jackie
