There is definitely something in the air because I keep hearing it from friends, family, clients… and I have been feeling it too.
This week threw a lot of people off their game with the time change.
“Spring Forward” aka Daylight Savings had 300 million people feel like they had jet lag on Monday morning.
And for many people, there is the stress of returning back to an office for the first time in two years.
If you have been working from home for the last couple of years, it can be daunting to think about getting dressed in office-appropriate clothing, waking up earlier to commute, and saying goodbye to your babies or furry friends… who have become very accustomed to having you home all day.
While there is good news that the global pandemic has been downgraded to an ‘endemic,’ we are all going through changes after this two-year crisis.
And with change, it is not unusual to feel overwhelmed.
Whether you are going through a BIG life change (birth, death, marriage, divorce, job, moving) or just trying to navigate through your daily routine, it is easy to feel overwhelmed.
Stress and overwhelm can be like a snowball. Sometimes when one thing weighs heavily on us, it can make everything seem more daunting.
