It is estimated that human beings make 35,000 decisions or choices every day.
Just think about going to Starbucks and ordering a coffee. It’s never just a cup of coffee.
It might be a latte or a cappuccino or tea. 1/2 caf or decaf? Dairy or non-dairy? Whole? 2 %? Almond? Coconut? Oat? There are like 10 decisions just in that drink order alone.
But it’s not just which over-priced breakfast drinks we order, we are often confronted with BIG decisions like looking for a new job. Finding a new place to live. Whether or not to stay in a relationship.
Or other decisions like how do I lose 10 pounds? How do I reduce my stress? How do I get started on decluttering my house?
Whether it is a big decision or a bunch of small ones, decision-making can be very stressful.
And the more indecisive we become, the further away we get from trusting our own gut.
When we become paralyzed by indecision, we take the path of least resistance by doing NOTHING.
