Failure Is Not Your Enemy

March 27, 2024

Fun fact: I didn’t apply to medical school because I flunked an Organic Chemistry lab in my junior year. While that isn’t the entire story, it was the last straw.

For years, I felt like a failure for not becoming a doctor. Eventually, I realized it didn’t matter to anyone else but me, and my “failure” was a stepping stone to my success.

When I pivoted to a career in television, I promised myself that I wouldn’t give up when the going got tough. I worked hard for decades, put in long hours, and dealt with volatile bosses and big egos in a highly competitive field.

Coaching has allowed me to utilize my analytical mind, love of psychology, and years of experience in corporate America to do what I originally wanted to do…

Help People Feel Better!

Failure is where we find true strength. It’s where we develop resilience and discover depths of courage we never knew we had.

In today’s episode of “The OverThinkers Guide to Joy,” I discuss how learning to embrace failure is the key to success. You can listen here or wherever you get your podcasts.

If you need help overcoming perceived failure or finding courage, I would love to help you. Book your free mini-session with me here.

Happy Wednesday!
