The Power of Forgiveness

November 10, 2021

It’s hard to say, “I’m sorry.”

It’s hard to admit when we have made a mistake, especially when we have hurt someone.

But what do you do when someone has hurt YOU, and THEY don’t apologize?

Or they don’t think they have done anything wrong, but YOU are STILL suffering.

Or what happens when that person is no longer part of your life, and you fear that you’ll never find closure?

This is

The Power of Forgiveness.

Forgiveness is not about letting people get away with a crime or wrongdoing.

Forgiveness is a GIFT you give to yourself.

When someone has hurt you, intentionally or unintentionally, it can create anger, resentment, and self-doubt.

During the day, it can show up as a constant source of distraction.

At night, it can keep you awake with ruminating thoughts.

Sometimes hurt or anger gets trapped in our bodies and shows up as chronic pain.

When we practice Forgiveness, we free up our hearts and minds for other things:

Love.

Freedom.

Peace.

New Opportunities.

By holding onto your anger, hurt, or betrayal, you give away your power to those that hurt you.

Take back your power and liberate yourself.

It starts with Forgiveness.
