What Needs Replanting in Your Life?

April 2, 2025

I’ve said it before: I am not a gardener. I have, historically, been a plant assassin.

Succulents? Dead.

Pothos? Brown and crispy.

If a plant comes into my home, it’s living on borrowed time.

So you can imagine my shock when two of my orchids decided to bloom again after months of what felt like mostly trial and error.

But it wasn’t luck. It was patience.

I experimented with light, water, and fertilizer. I re-potted one of them, trusting that its roots needed a new environment to thrive. I was giving them attention, even when I wasn’t sure anything was happening.

But isn’t that how growth works in every area of life? Sometimes, things wilt. Sometimes, they die. Relationships, careers, self-care—what once felt vibrant starts to fade.

It’s easy to assume it’s over and nothing will ever grow again.

But what if all it needs is the proper adjustment? A little more nourishment, a shift in environment, a different kind of care?

So, what in your life needs replanting?

What needs more light, more patience, or a fresh start?

And—this is important—what “weeds” need pulling so the good stuff has room to grow.

One of my clients quipped that she hired me to be her professional weed whacker—to help her clear out the thoughts and habits that were keeping her stuck.

I might not be able to keep a houseplant alive, but I am really good at helping people revive the parts of their lives that matter most.

If something in your life feels like it’s struggling to bloom, let’s talk. Book a session with me, and let’s figure out what needs to be watered, moved, or even replanted.

Schedule your free discovery session with me here.

Happy Wednesday!
